Monitor colors are off

When I try to adjust my monitor the red won't do anything at all.
I move it to 100% and back to 0% and there is no difference.
The blue and green still make a big difference though.
When I print out a color photo it's all green.
What could be going on?
I tried and tried again to play with the display settings, upgrade drivers,
and the settings directly on the monitor.
This is an emachines intergraded GeForce.

Thanks

Jay

If your machine is still under warranty I would take it back. Sounds like a bad video card. If not under warranty, look for new video card.

Try re-seating the monitor connector.

Alternately, your monitor is beginning to die.

Alt-alternately, there are two places you can control Red/Green/Blue
levels (depending on your hardware). In the monitor's controls, or the
Video card's controlls. I know that Nvidia drivers let you (they make
the GeForce).

To see if the monitor is or is not failing, connect it to another machine and/or connect a known properly working monitor to your machine. If other monitors have the same issue on your machine, then you know the monitor is not at fault. Also have a look inside the box for any loose connections, failing fans and dust buildup.
