MM Crashes EveryTime

Movie Maker2 Crashes everytime I attempt to add photos and transitions to my 3 minute music video
Crashes = the program ends, disappears

The MPEG movie is in the time line
Photos are dragged onto the time lin
Sometimes three or four photos are in place before MM2 crashes

Please advise

I'm using a Presario 700 Laptop with 256meg
6gig of HD space is free.

Look under Problem solving/Acceleration and codecs. Probably the divxaf.ax
issue. Worked for me.

And it might be an MPEG2 issue... Playback/importing of MPEG2 content is
completely dependant on the third party MPEG2 decoder installed on your
computer. Most do not work well. See the Importing Source Files > Video >
MPEG2 page of www.papajohn.org also.

I have the same problem, however I'm using a desktop with
over 80gb of space, so i dont think it has to do with
memoery
