Missing Toolbar question

Adam Raff

Good Day,

Today one of my users noticed that her toolbar was missing when she creates
a email, this toolbar is the formatting toolbar.

I went into view and toolbars and I now do not see this toolbar listed. I
went into repair and tried that with no luck. Is there an easy way to get
this option back or do I have to create this toolbar from scratch.

Thank You

Version of Outlook?
Word or Outlook as the e-mail editor.

You can always do a hard reset on the toolbar by renaming outcmd.dat to
outcmd.old

Hi All,

Thank for Robert's help. Actually the outcmd.dat file store the command bar
and menu customization information. I suggest you rename the outcmd.dat
file in the following folder to perform a test.

\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

If you have anything unclear, please feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,
Warner Wang
