Missing text and bullets in Powerpoint 2007 when reading 2003

After spending hours trying to get it right I gave up. Having Lexmark printer
and playing with solution presented here (different drivers uninstall and
trying different installing) didn't work so I am aking for additional help.
Problem is that on some slides I can't see text within and outside the text
boxes as well as some bullets text. When I select the those fonts and choose
e.g. arial the text can be seen. I do not have those fonts originally but
then they can be seen chosing different fonts. Within ppt there are some
other fonts that I am also missing but those I can see.
What else to try?

Since you're not replying to an existing set of messages, there's no way to tell
which suggestions/solutions you're referring to. What exactly have you tried?

I tried PCL driver as well as some Multidriver suggested by Lexmark and it
didn't work. I also uninstalled all printer drivers and printers from Laptop
so nothing was there and that didn't help. Still not seeing text.
If uninstalling all drivers and printes didn't work would installing test
driver help somehow?

In order for it to mean anything, you have to follow the instructions *exactly*,
including installing the printer driver suggested.


So when you select the text and change the font to Arial, the text appears.
Is that correct?

Yes, there are several types of fonts within presentation and some I see and
some I don't. Those which I don't see when I select the text and choose the
font I have installed on my computer (e.g. Arial or any other) become
visible. Usually the text that is missing is buletting text and text within
the text box but I cannot figure out the pattern why some text I see and some
I don't.

Just explained above. When text selected and changed to font I have on my
computer the text is visible.

I don't have installed I see and some I don't.

I tried the test driver as suggested and did everything as explained in the
instructions but nothing changed, still cannot see the text.
Any other suggestion I might try to solve this?
