missing restore points

I have just installed service pack 2 after having created a restore point.
On checking through my system restore I notice that all previous restore
points have vanished. There are no BOLD dates for September and I cannot
access previous months. The system restore I created before installing SP 2
is there.
Is this OK?

Hi

If you have the one checkpopint from before SP2 was installed, that is OK.
You don't really need more than 5/6 checkpoints - going back 7/10 days - in
any case.
