Missing properties dialogue in Access

I have had the strangest thing happen I cannot find the properties dialogue,
I work on two screens and normally the database opens in my main display and
the properties dialogue on the secondary display. now I cannot get the
properties dialogue to display at all even changing screen settings to one
screen it is not visible, It happens on all datbases on my system. any ideas
I am using A2000

To get it back on screen:

1. Depress the Properties button on the icon so that the (not visible)
window gets focus. You should see the title bar of the main window dim.

2. Press Alt + Space.
This drops down the control box.

3. Press M (for move.)

4. Press the arrow keys repeatedly until the properties box comes into view.

5. Press Enter to accept it in that location.
