How can I format screenplay dialogue on XP?

I have Windows XP, and have been manually formatting my screenplays, but I'm
told that you can set up a shortcut to do wrap-around dialogue. I have no
idea how to do this, although I've tried. But I can't even find the right
table or whatever it is you use to do it.

I've never had formal training on the computer, and just trying to choose
the appropriate discussion group here was frustrating. I have no idea if
it's the right place. Any help would be appreciated.

Windows XP is an operating system. Do you know which software you are using
to manually format your screenplays? If we knew that, we could possibly
help you find the right place to ask your question.

Yikes. A computer question back! I think the answer is Microsoft Word. If
it isn't, how would I find out?

The name of the application being used is often contained in the title bar
at the top of the screen. You can also look under the Help menu option:
usually there will be a "Help about xxx" option there, where xxx is the name
of the application.
