Missing Office shortcut toolbar at startup

Hi,

This has to do with MS Office XP and the Shortcut menu.
Awhile back, it stopped working. I found it listed under Microsoft Tools for
awhile, and then that disappeared, too.

So I removed and reinstalled Office XP Pro and Service Pack 3. It worked for
awhile and now it's only available under Programs/microsoft tools, shortcut
bar again.

I tried a repair install but no joy.

Is there a manual way to get the shortcut bar to work again without
reinstalling Office again? They say third time's a charm<grin>.

Add it to the Startup menu. On this PC, it appears as:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE" -b -l

Thanks - that worked. Do you know if that's what the installer for it does?

I replaced the Office Shortcut toolbar with a better one that works as
a stand-alone Windows utility, and so is independant of MS Office. It's
free! This looks/feels the same as the MSO tool and so if you're
already familiar with using the MSO version you'll be right at home
with this one.
