Missing hints

The hints that come up when the mouse moves over items stops working at
times on my XP Pro with SP1. Is there a fix for this? What causes it. I
normally have to reboot to get it working again.

I just noticed that this is just happening with apps written in Borland
Delphi.

Strange.

You may have some spyware on your system. There was a rash of errors a
while ago relating to spyware written in Borland Delphi. Remove spyware
with Spybot Search & Destroy from www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware
from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before
running them. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in
Safe Mode.

Hi Don,

This is common and that is generally the work around. The exact reason
hasn't been found as of yet nor a universal fix.

That seems to have worked. I had Spybot but not the AdWare.
