dear w2k gurus,
i found a installation medium labeld

microsoft windows server 2003 r2.

what means r2. what makes the difference to the standard w2k3 edition. is
this release for productives environments ?

From what I understand r2 means release 2. This is not a half baked
product, it is ready for productive environments. If you buy new server
software in this class that would be the version to get. There is all
