This problem started Aug 4th. When I was trying to get my
screensaver off my screen, it got frozen, then finally I
pushed ESC and it closed but then there was
this "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" message that
said:
________________________________________________________
Program: C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\tsa\ts.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's
support team for more information.

________________________________________________________

And then there's an ok button, so I press it but then it
comes up again immediately after. So I press ctrl+alt+del
to try to get rid of the messages and in the task list,
there's about 20 of the same messages! I eventually
closed them all but then today, the same thing happened.
I could say it happens usually when using IE or just
while connected to the net. But I have no idea what's
causing it. I feel like tossing this computer out the
window...Please help...Thanks.

PS. I performed a system restore to Aug. 1st.

You have a trojan on your system:

In addition to the above, here are general malware removal instructions:

Remove spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure
to update these programs before running them. These programs are free,
so run them both since they complement each other. It is best to run
antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe Mode. You may also want to
run CWShredder and HijackThis from http://aumha.org/freeware.htm.
Although CWShredder is no longer being updated, it will still clean
older variants of the CoolWebSearch malware. Please read the
instructions carefully. Also, make sure you've visited Windows Update
and applied all security patches. Do not install driver updates from
Windows Update. Make sure you are running a firewall and have a
full-featured current (post-2002 version) antivirus installed using
updated definitions.
