Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter issue

Hello everyone. I have just installed Windows XP Home Basic in my brand new
laptop after having formatted its HD to remove a Linux OS. But now my
wireless connection does not work and I have 3 yellow question marks in the
Network Adapters of the Device Manager, just beside "Microsoft Tun Miniport
Adapter #1, #2 and #4" devices, and I'm having no success trying to change
this situation. I tried to update the drivers, but it says that "windows
could not find a better driver". I tried to uninstall these 3 Tun Miniport
adapters, but windows says that "It is not possible to uninstall this device
cause it could be necessary to reboot your computer". I read a few
recommendations about this issue in the Vista Forums, downloaded Fix It
50199, tried to execute the proposed solutions, but it did not work for me.
What could I do now? Thanks in advance.

Did you check the notebook's vendor driver page - ? Some new
PCs no longer provide XP drivers, only Vista & Seven. On a
fresh install you'll need the Chipset driver package first before you
add Video/NIC and Sound drivers.

Did you not post the same Q some days ago? - same answer as before
You need to install drivers supplied from your Brand New Laptop manufactures
site, allways assuming they have Winxp drivers avilable
And why visit Vista Forums for a winXP Q?

I am having the same problem on XP SP3 though my hardware has not changed in
a year. No other software recently installed except for Microsoft updates
which I suspect caused the problem. Original symptom was PC would not talk
to local network servers. Said "A device in the system is not working."
Internet traffic OK.

I've uninstalled IPV6, reset the TCP/IP stack etc. Nothing works.

Suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks in advance.
