When I try to start the microsoft system information, I get a box that reads
"Cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software. Windows Management files may be moved or missing."
Does anyone know how to fix this.

.
Check to see if windows management instrumentation(WMI)
is set to automatic.
Open control panel then open Admin tools, open services
WMI should be near the bottom of the list.right click and
select properties change to automatic, then look at the
dependantcies tab and check if the any depenantcies are
also set to auto. (event log and remote proceedure call)
good luck.
