I took some digital photos of my screen with a snap of my registry , so you
can see where that key should be ,but it isnt

Joe,
I have a confirmation that the Key does exist in Windows XP Pro. Have
you tried using Find under the Edit Menu in registry editor it will find the
key for you? Email me the screen shots. I have sent you an email with an
alternative suggestion if we can not get the results with the registry edit.

Paul I took all of your instruction and it worked . I was able to
successfully acheive making the PHOTOEDITOR once again the default editor
with your help and John Inzers help as well. So thanks for all the great
effort by you 2
