W

Wegie

heee he, Vista is failing in the marketplace, just like we all
suspected. now there is confirmation.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer believes that sales forecasts for its new
Vista operating system may be ³overly aggressive.²

Meanwhile, Microsoft stock continues to plummet since the day Vista

This info while interesting has nothing to do with setup/installation unless
you want to posit that you can't set up Vista if you don't buy it. Put
stuff like this on the general group. It's not germane to installation.

Google and Mac, two biggest competitors comprise 2/3 of the cites. The
Reuters cite isn't a very definite article (pardon the pun) on the subject,
something about "overly aggressive" but not much else. Otherewise, it seems
all's well and that Vista is doing quite splendidly and will rake in
billions and billions in profit. Y'can't argue with this success.

Both articles make the claim that market analysts gotten it wrong a little..
neither relate to Microsoft's claims about it..

That doesn't explain the fact that certain editions are impossible to come
by.

So let me get this straight. "MAC"world reports that Vista is not doing
well?

"overly aggressive" does not equal "failing in the market place". Go back
and read.

all while most users that install Vista "suffer"..... microsoft should
be barred from doing business, they are seriously harming productivity
across the world.

"most users that install Vista"
Really?
I know some do for a large variety of reasons.
Please post your source.

"they are seriously harming productivity across the world."
Post the source for this as well.

Incorrect. Steve Ballmer, CEO of MS believes that vista not seeling as
well as they though, MacWorld is just one of the many sites reporting on it.
"overly aggressive" does not equal "failing in the market place". Go
back and read.

Mabey you need to work on reading comprehension too?

Many sites like?
Name a few, or at least one that is not in competition with MS..
Mabey you need to work on reading comprehension too?

The term "overly aggressive" has little to do with "failing". If I project
we will sell 1 billion widgets, and we sell 750 million for a net profit, we
had an overly aggressive projection but we did not fail.

I think the marketing for Vista has issues, and most PC users are either
waiting until they know more about it or until they need a new PC.
Eventually, most PC users will buy it.

J

Justin

1. You are obviously too thick headed to see the humor or my quotations.

2. "vista not seeling as well as they though" still does NOT equal "failing
in the market place".

3. You're telling me to work on read comprehension? How is that going to
work when I have to read words like "seeling"? If you're going to tell
people to learn to read then at least spell check your own BS!
