Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1--- System32\cxd1705

C

Chicagoman442

While scanning the Spyware stops responding at a certain
file. I tried running it in Safe Mode and they same thing
happens.

The file it stops at is System32\cxd1705. This file was
generated from Cryptainer. I opened Cryptainer and tried
it that way and it still stopped responding after it
scans that file for awhile.

Any suggestions ?

Second problem:

I have windows XP home edition.

NAV 2005 scans the entire hard drives and only finds this
File Adware.cdt. If I click on the file name the path
shows up but when I navigate to the path I don't see the
file, I can't delete it.

I have "show all files" and "unchecked hide system
files", in the folder options. It is suppose to be in
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary
Internet Files\Content.IE5\QN4LQH4J\ad[1].htm, but I am
unable to find this file.

I also tried the instructions Norton gives to get rid of
but so far no success.

Please help.

I removed Microsoft Anti Spyware then re downloaded it.
This time it still hung up on the same file but after 6
or 7 minutes it went through and finished. Both my issues
have been resolved with Microsoft Anti Spyware and Ad-
Aware SE.

Thanks
