Message Delivery Receipts

I use read receipt and even delivery receipt on messages that I want to be
sure are read and delivered.

It appears that under Outlook 2003, the person receiving the email message
has the option to say NO to send a receipt and is not tracked in the original
mail message.

Have those of you using Outlook 2003 for awhile already seen this, is there
some work around or other tracking feature, and what good is “read receiptâ€
now if a recipient has the option to say no?

I think the recipient has always had the option to say no to read receipts.
Outlook Express is the same way. And I for one, would not use an e-mail
client that auto-responded to every spammer and virus out there.
