McAfee not starting

I'm hoping someone can help me, my McAfee anti virus is not starting on
schedule. I checked in the scheduled task folder in control panels and
everything is ok. Even in the McAfee options, the schedule is checked
off and time is correct. I even went into services, and all is fine
there too. This all happened last week for no reason, everything was
working just fine, then all of a sudden, it stops working! I have no
idea what to do next. I even called the help line at McAfee, the guy was
a total jerk and knew nothing, I ended up hanging the phone up, it was
that bad!
I got the McAfee from Comcast, it's free, and I even uninstalled it, and
installed it again, still does not work on schedule.
Thanks for your help.

You have to supply an administrative account and password for a scheduled job to execute
through Control panel --> Scheduled Tasks.

I have all ready done that, it still won't work. Plus, why would it stop
all of a sudden?

I suggest posting this in the McAfee Forums.

You have got the scheduling set within the program?

Also try clearing the task and then setting the schedule again in the
program itself.

ATM it appears you need to be logged in for it to run.

I think I know what happened. Some time ago in my Belarc Advisor I saw
"user" listed as one of the administrators, my name as the other. So....
not liking to see "user", I changed it to my name using the Start-Run
format and made the change. Thats why McAfee wont start, its not seeing
"user". So I uninstalled McAfee and installed it again from Comcast's
web site. Now it still wont start under my name, but when i switch back
to "user", it works fine.
So can someone explain to my on how to make McAfee start under my name,
or should I just go back to "user" and forget about all this?
I want to thank all the replies I got and really appreciate your help!
