math symbols in access

I want to create a database of mathematical definitions. The basic problem I
face is that I don't know how to get math and logic symbols into Access
fields. I tried to use Design Science's MathType (which works fine in Word),
but its symbols won't paste into Access. Does anyone know any way I can get
math symbols into Access?
Thanks

Hi.
Does anyone know any way I can get
math symbols into Access?

Yes. Use the ASCII code for each symbol.

Create a text column in a table, then create a query that contains this
column. Use a form that is bound to the query. Turn the <NUM LOCK> key on.
Press the <ALT> key and continue pressing while you type the digits 224 from
the numeric keypad, then lift up on the <ALT> key. You should see the alpha
symbol appear if you have the same code page as I do on Windows XP for
English-US. Various other math symbols range from <ALT> 224 through 253,
but you may have to experiment to find the full range of math symbols for
your workstation.
