Distorted Math Symbols in Powerpoint 2003

Hi,
One of my friend has sent me a .pps file which have lots of math symbols. These symbols are created using Math Type. Now when I am opening this file in my machine, all the images gets distort. In the laptops and windows 2000 server, it is working fine but not on other machines. Please let me know about the problem and the solution.
