Does anyone know where I can find a plain-text list of all (or as many as
possible)
sites that would be considered porn or inappropriate sites?

Thanks for any help you might provide.

Although I assume your question is well meant, the problem is that
it's not easily answered. There's been articles from time to time
in the news about failed attempts at this, usually in public libraries,
and of course the possibility of cataloguing all the sites in the world
is beyond comprehension. The problem is that attempts to develop such
lists 1) almost invariably include many sites that are not even "sex
sites," but typically deal directly or indirectly with sex or
sexually-related topics via matters social or political; and 2) what's
porn or inappropriate (those are different categories) to you is often
not to the next person; i.e., the choice depends on your
political-cultural viewpoint and sexual proclivities. So, whatever
list(s) you come with, and perhaps someone will suggest some, recognize
that they are no better than the beliefs and arbitrary social
and computer-technical decisions of whomever has put it together.

The "hosts" file listing maintained by MVP
is a good resource, but it was originally intended to be an ad-blocker, and
sites hosting dangerous code were later added. It does not explicitly
address the issue of inappropriateness--if such a site does not host
malware, I don't think it would be included--but I haven't read all the
documentation--there's a lot.
