Unfortunately I got this error and couldnt boot my puter. My puter is HP and
it is windows XP. Been reading and trying to understand questions and
replies in the discussion group and I just couldnt figure out what to do.
Pls help. How do i get to the recovery console... I put in a "sort of"
universal boot disc and attempt to boot up was not successful. HP instructs
to burn recovery discs and to use PC Recovery Disc Creator..and I couldnt
even locate it.

You needed to create the recovery CDs when the XP was working. It
would have been in a HP "group" somewhere on the system.

You now may have to:

1) Borrow an XP "install" CD from someone in order to access the
recovery console. This CD need to be the same version (Home or Pro)
and the same category (OEM.)

2) Contact HP support and but the set of recvoery CDs.

Please note that this F11 may be a complete system recovery system
This will / may erase the hard drive completely and place your XP back
to the time when the PC left the factory.
