making an SP2 disk?

is it possible to make a disk containing SP2 to be used to upgrade
installations of XP or XP Pro that do not include any service packs
(older versions )on their disks?

i've heard that it can be a disaster to connect a machine without
windows firewall to the internet to download and install
it--specifically, i've heard that "blaster will take down your machine
within 5 minutes."

thanks.

ps--i'm fine with sending ms $4 (or whatever shipping is) for the disk
if it's not possible.

Do a little research on slipstreaming SP2 into your Windows XP
installation CD.

If you don't have a program capable of burning an ISO image,
you can download one here:

Download Windows XP Service Pack 2

Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD

Good luck
