lost my companion

Could someone please tell me how to get the companion back in internet
explorer. When I go to custom I only have
"Use Search Assistant or
"Use one search service
The dog is in files & folders & Computer But not where he WAS.

Something on MS(N)'s end "broke" it several weeks ago. For now, WYSIWG and
we've not heard /anything/ about it from MS(N), despite our queries.

mmm. I thought they fixed the en-us search assistant. Its broke again. en-au
and en-uk still broke too! There is a previous post for search showing
'square' characters and Search Assistant using Chinese characters!

Instead of the Australian search site try the US one

http://ie.search.msn.com/en-us/srchasst/srchcust.htm

I can still see all three options in it.

That's correct. If you want to switch back to Search Assistant (why?):
use the Other search options button, then click on Search the Internet.
