log on with admin. rights, but in limited account?

I have Norton's Internet Security 2006. In order to the personal firewall to
allow AOL to connect it must be configured. The account is a limited user
account. I need to be logged on with administrator access but still be a
limited user. I read somewhere about a "secondary logon" that would allow me
to be in a limited user account and yet still be able to log on with my
admin. rights. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am unsure of how to
configure the norton's and yet still have my brother set up with limited use.

Hi,

To run with administrator privileges in a limited account, you right click
the file you intend to run and choose "run as", then enter the admin
username and password. The elevated privileges will apply only to that
process and will cease once terminated.

should i run the norton's as administrator...or AOL? i've tried to use the
"run as" but i keep getting the same error message. it doesn't make sense
that in order for me to add accounts, they all need to be set up as
administrators.

Hi,

Norton's should be running as a service and not require the user account to
be admin. You may want to check with Symantec support on the proper
configuration for the system. I can't comment on AOL as I have not and do
not use their service.
