I am using Windows XP with SP2.
Is it possible to access Administrative account from Limited Account?
I know I can use certain Program by clicking Run as command.
But is there any way I can act as Administrator from my limited account.
My friend, who is a Linux user says that in Linux there is no need to have
separate Administrative account, as same account can be used as
administrative or limited account as per requirement.
Thanks.
Either you run in an account with admin privileges (by logging into that
account or into the built in Administrator account) or you run in an account
without out it (i.e. limited).
What exactly are you asking? What do you mean by access administrative
account from the limited account.
To login the built in Administrator account depends on whether you have XP
Home or Pro, which you didn't specify. The built in account should not be
used for normal activities. Use that as a fall back if something damages
the other accounts. You should create an additional with admin privileges
and whatever number of limited accounts you need.
