Local resources with Remote Access & Win XP Pro

I am using 2 workstation running XP Pro. I have configured my XP
machine to use Printing and Drives when I connect over the internet to
the other XP Machine with Remote Access.

When I go to make the connection I receive a warning regarding the
drives but not the printers. After I connect I can see my local
drives on the Host computer but not my printers. I have tried to
install the print drivers from my printers on the host machine but
still not dice.

One last thing all of my local printers are on a LAN with
printservers!

Thanks

Ron

Have you tried editing the ntprint.inf file on your XP
machine to see if you can force those printers to map?

Are there any entires in your eventlog on your XP machine
about how it can't map the printers from the client?

Have no idea how to edit file. I took a look in the file and found
nothing re: maping.

I looked in the Event View and saw no problems

Where do I go from here? Do I have to do somthing to the local
printer properties?

Thanks

Once you are connected to the XP machine through terminal
services, can you manually add the printer through the
printers folder?

I can create the Printer on the Remote Host but when I go into the
printer ports - I see a bunch that say TS00x Inactive TS Port. Then
I see 2 that say TS001 ACER PRN1 and TS002 ACER PRN2 (Acer is my
machine) I have tried to attache to each one of these and the others
but nothing happens!

Thanks

Are you client and server both set up to map the default
client printer automatically?
