lmhosts question

Hi there,
I have a workgroup home network of XP Pro machines. When I bring my
office laptop located on an NT4 domain at home I am not able to browse
the workgroup at home.
What should I add to lmhosts in order to see the workgroup through My
network Places, Entire Network, Microsoft Window, Workgroup?
Also how can I set the node name from unknown to hybrid?
Thank you, T

The most common reason for not seeing your home network is because at
least one machine on the network has an improperly configured firewall
running. Even one machine with a firewall can kill browsing on the
whole subnet.

"Internet firewalls can prevent browsing and file sharing"

The Unknown/Hybrid situation is probably not a problem, but one of
these articles might help:

""Ipconfig /All" Command Shows the Node Type as Unknown"
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310570/en-us>

"Automatically Changing the Node Type of a Windows NT Workstation"

HTH,
John
