Linking Webcam to Access

Hi

I have a database that stores student data. I would like to include a webcam
or any digital camera that is attached to a PC that can be used to capture
the pictures of student directly into the Access aplication. I would
apreciate any information of how to tackle this issue.

Hi,


Since a WebCam is not a peripheral officially supported (managed) by the OS, as far as I know, you
have to relay on the drivers and utilities supplied by the camera supplier... Different suppliers
may have different way to access to ... different possibilities of their hardware, even if it is
connected to the PC through a USB or other link.

I suspected that might be the case. I was hoping someone who has done this
before might give me some hints on how to go about it. Still thanks for the
