Linking a picture

I haven't even split the database yet. I'm still working on one db. I'm just
doing some tests on it now and that's when I noticed the problem.

And the strange thing is I just created a new login and put it under the
Admins group and when I log in using that loging it doesn't lock the db in
exclusive mode. But when I use my regular login it does. This is weird!

Can anyone tell me how to link an image in a form from a database? So when I
call up a record I want the image of that record to display too. thanks

What version of Access are you using? If you have either Access 2002 or
2003, you should have a ready made sample that you can look at. Find the
Northwind.mdb sample database. The Employees form includes this functionality.

Note: The Access 2000, and all earlier versions, of Northwind use embedded
(not linked) images.
