Lines of text missing when I print ANY word document

Whenever I print any document in word, it deletes about an inch and a half of text about a quarter of the way down the page. It simply leaves that section out as if someone had taken scissors, cut out part of my document, then taped it back together. What is it doing and how do I fix it????

Hi, wizkid. A few things to try:
1. In Word, try turning off background printing in Tools | Options | Print.
2. If the problem persists, then in Windows, click on Start | Control Panel | Printers | <right-click on your printer> | Properties. Look for a tab named Details or Advanced where you can disable advanced text services and/or disable print spooling and/or enable printing directly to printer.
3. Check on your printer manufacturer's website for an updated printer driver.
