Missing Text in Print Layout

Hey everyone,

Back again with another question/problem, I’m hopefully someone could give
me some suggestions/help me out. Here's my problem...

I was given a word document that had crashed; when they reopened the
document the format was changed on some pages as well sections of the
document are missing. I took a look for myself and indeed there’s about 5
pages missing (which are all of section 2). I was playing around with the
document and I noticed when I change the layout to Web layout the missing
text appears fine! When I tried to print it out the pages is still missing.

Any idea what it could be??
(thanks again for any replies, its much appreciated)

Is the text in a table? If so, make sure that the rows do *not* have their
heights set to "Exactly," in the Table Properties dialog box (Row tab).

Another thing to check: Click Format | Columns (Page Layout tab | Columns |
More Columns in Word 2007). Under "Presets," click the "One" option (even if
it already appears to be selected), and click OK.

Note also that, because of the crash, the document might be damaged. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/CorruptDoc.htm.
