I have added a LG combo drive GSA 4040B and Moviemaker does not allow me to copy to drive!
Have read the help and do not have a recording tab.
"Open My Computer>CD-ROM Drive in question, right click Properties>Recording
Enable CD Recording on the drive."

Microsoft article 316529 taked about the regedit - checked and it is fine!
Is there a fix out there?
the DVD/CD R/W is in e drive and a DVD/CD R is F drive.
The icon for The f drive is correct the e drive shows a CD rom

try LG tech support, since it is a new drive, you may need
to load their drivers BEFORE installing the drive.

In that case remove the optical drives and reinstall them,
the LG drive first.

If you go to device manager and then go to the properties of the drive, go t othe driver tab and click on the driver details button
What drivers are assigned to the drive? Should only be 4 signed drivers
Please post the results
