lexmark 5150 - Hardware Error: 0502

I just bought this printer without a manual and I don't know what this error
code means which my lexmark 5150 is giving me as soon as it powers up .. I
can't get it to do anything...can anyone help me figure out what this code
means?

Several things.
Firstly go to http://support.dell.com/us/en/kb/document.asp?dn=1080620#Sectlink
I think this is the same printer.
The other thing you could try is to lubricate the bar that the carriage
(printhead) travels on.
Lastly, paper jams can cause this problem, look for some small piece of paper
stuck in the paper path.

ultimately set me on the right path .. resetting the belt alignment thingy
fixed it!! .. you're the best .. keep up the good work in this newsgroup ..
