Launching Media Player from website?

I have a mpeg video I want to display on my website. Does anyone know how to
set up the link so when the visitor clicks the graphic on my site it will
launch Windows Media Player to show the mpeg?

Clicking the link will launch whatever player the user has associated with Mpeg
files (may not necessarily be Windows Media Player) - but the answer is Yes.

Just open your web, open the page you want the link to the mpeg, import the mpeg
file, create a hyperlink, save and publish the html page and the mpeg file.
