keyboard driver.

Hi,
I have recently reformatted my laptop but the problem is that I didn’t
have recovery driver disc. I downloaded most of the drivers form
internet and installed but the surprising thing is that my keyboard
read differently. It reads like other normal IBM, Compaq, and DELL
external keyboard. Mine laptop has just 87 Keys and I am not using
external keyboard. This is the Specification of my laptop: Sony vaio
PCG-FR102. Processor: mobile AMD Athlon™XP processor 2000+. Can any one
tell me, how I can get the relevant keyboard driver of my specification
so that it can read correct keypad. I will be very thankful if any one
can help me to solve this problem.

check the laptop mfg website for keybrd drivers or a driver recovery cd.

Thx for ur advice. I checked mfg website so many times but i fail to get
the keyboard drivers of my specification. So, is there any other means
that i can get the drivers from other sources? plz help.

Well. I went to Sony Website. I can't find the model # you provided. maybe
that's part of the problem.

Here is Sony support site. Use their automated system to identify your
system and use on line tech support chat sessions to get you going again.
Pretty sure it is free.
