Kazaa why is it so slow on my pc with xp-pro-sp2

I have two computers, one has xp-pro and the other xp-pro+sp2.
They both use the same modem andd router. Using Kazaa the non sp2 p/c

finds and downloads kazaa files at high bandwidth eg >600 whilst the
other computer seems to be limited to speeds/bandwidth less than 30.
It really makes the slow connection a waste of time.
On the slow p/c I hav tried disabling the xp-sp2 firewall but this
seems to have no effect. I have opene the ports reffered to in kazaa.

Any ideas?

You are asking why a program, that is "known" to infect computers through
the file downloads, slows down a computer???

Get Kazaa off your computer and then clean the computer of all malware
infections.

Stop running spyware infested sink holes on your computer perhaps? You'll be
surprised how much better computers run when you don't give total strangers
permission to drive a coach and horses through the middle of your setup at
any time they choose.

I'm always surprised at "professionals" who STILL have to be asked "Have you
checked (event viewer / syslog)".

K-Lite runs OK - just that it has slow connections speeds (max 6kbps,
normally 0. something). However iMesh stops responding until about 10
minutes later when it becomes usable. This is on SP2 also.
