K9? What's going on?

Thanks in advance.

I have been using K9 to filter my email for the past year with almost
flawless results. It's a great program. All of a sudden it let the last 20
spam messages through. Is anyone else experiencing this? What have I done
to allow this? I'm at a lose.

Suggestions appreciated, and again thanks,

Dave H.

I use K9 and love it also. I have not had the experience you are
having. If anything it is sometimes too agressive and filters out
messages I don't want it to. My accuracy is 99.81% but it would be
higher if not for having to reclassify Spam as Good.

It is possible your database has become corrupted. You may have to
Rebuild database in Statistics page. http://keir.net/k9_statistics.html
Read this page before you do that, though.

I was at 99.11% with 9,164 total emails processed. Because I woke up this
morning with 10 out of 10 spam emails getting through, I rebuilt the
database. We'll see.

Thanks for the reply,

I suppose it's just possible the Scummers have discovered an unplugged
loophole?
Might be worth updating your rules.
