Vista would have been a slam-dunk product if it had just provided the
performance in what MICROSOFT INCLUDED IN THE BOX, and it IS Microsofts
Choice as to what is and is not included.

100% as included, that I would have to seek better drivers to get better
performance.

Then don’t use it? You are the only cry baby crying about this. While
others are pissed at hardware vendors and waiting.

Funny thing is that I can get XP working with the default drivers and have
better performance than Vista with their default drivers, which is the
point.

More of your ignorance. Have you ever worked with application servers or
appliances? The best, most common way to detect any form of disk service is
to check for disk thrashing. If that consol did not exist to tell you if
the machine was indexing then yes the best, quickest way to see if it's
possibly running is to check the HDD activity.

But this is typical of someone who's been proven wrong. This is your second
attempt to stray from the issue at hand.
