System setup:
Win2000 server w/SP3

We have been imaging machines with our corporate image of XP for a couple of years without a problem. Today we tried (in a test environment) to slipstream XP SP1 into the image. We used the following command to accomplish the slipstream update /s:E:\XPimage. Following procedures everything during the slipstream ran fine. We have restarted the BINL service and even rebooted the server but when we build a machine with that updated image (XP w/SP1), all files copy fine from the server but when the client machine reboots we recieve the following error:

stop: c000021a {fatal system error} The session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000263 (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shutdown.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you run the slipstream against the RIS image folder?

in case you did, try this:
Copy the contents of the Windows XP CD to a temp-folder.
Slipstream the temp-folder with XP SP1
Run risetup to add a new image and then specify the temp-folder for
the location of the files
