jpg, jpe problem

I am running IE6 on a Millenium Edition machine. When I right click on a jpg
image and click "save image as.." it saves it as a jpe file instead. I have
checked every setting I can find and compared the settings with another
machine running essentially the same programs and I cannot figure what is
wrong.

Any ideas?

in the Hkey settings. you can set the default. You may
want to check this. at the moment, i don't recall, but you
have to go into it from 'Run". I can think about this if
you do not know how to access it.......
