Javascript pop-up windows wont open. Help please!

When I click on links that are javascript pop-up windows,
lately, my computer won't open it. The window will just
disappear in a split second. Its not a pop-up blocker
thing because Im able to open them using MSN explorer--
which I really dont like. Ive tried restoring my default
settings via control panel and still nothing. This is
really annoying. Any and all suggestions would be great.
