Then why did you post that you just had a friend of yours send a copy
from the U.S.?

Because I have more than one computer and you know how MS feels about
installing XP on more than one computer ...

The new one was installed in Feb 07.

Why are you posting in a Vista group when you don't even use the OS
then and every other response is "Should use Linux"?
hehehe...cause he's OBSESSED with Vista and is a passenger on the good
ship Denial.

This has to be the lamest point anyone has made to date. How can anyone
make this comparison without first taking into account the number of
machines currently in circulation versus when Win98 was released.

Next, someone is going to compare Vista sales to CURRENT XP sales. After
all Vista has been out for a FULL MONTH!!!!!......oops, I just read that one
too, too late! More lameness.

However, if the OP would like to use his brain for once he would figure out
that Vista sales per week of release has sold WAY MORE then XP did per week
of it's release. But then again, a REAL COMPARISON is too much for some
people to understand. Not to mention this was already discussed before.

So lame.

My PS3 locks up all the time. I'm still waiting for Sony to send me the
return box.

Saying Vista is alpha is....well, that just proves how ignorant he is.

That's the main reason no one can take him serious.

The funny part is, in an isolated flame war, he'll proclaim that he helps
many people and everyone here likes him.

He trashes an OS he's never used. He bases ALL of his "opinions" based on
what he's read of other peoples "opinions". He even admitted it at one
point.

J

Justin

That's too much for him to comprehend. Even if you do include those
BUSINESS ONLY VLK purchases, the entire notion is still lame.

Per week of sales for Vista when compared to all other versions is higher.
Even when you ratio the number of machines to date versus then.

It was because of a licensing issue. There is no need to do that for
the US.

Licensing issue of what ? EVERY article I saw said it was a cost-reduction
choice only. There was never any mention of any licencing limitations, only
that they didn't want to put the Emotion Graphics Engine chip in each one,
as it's sole purpose is to play PS2 titles.

Per week of sales for Vista when compared to all other versions is
higher. Even when you ratio the number of machines to date versus

So where can I find the per week sales numbers of Vista ?

At present, you need someone from MS willing to discuss it with you.
Otherwise you'll need to wait until they release sales figures.

OR

You can browse the web and get guesstimates.

OR

You can take the guesstimate of the OP and divide by 5.

Take your pick.

Hey, false, but in any event, if you don't like my posts either use self
control and don't read them or, if you don't have any self control, kill
file me.

I'll admit it again: I do research before I buy something. You don't. I
guess that -- in your twisted eyes -- makes you a more prudent and
sensible consumer.

What, you don't talk to them directly, Mr Hot Shot Beta Tester?
Otherwise you'll need to wait until they release sales figures.

Oh, so you don't know. Why am I not surprised?
OR

You can browse the web and get guesstimates.

They don't know either. How quaint.
OR

You can take the guesstimate of the OP and divide by 5.

And you won't be any more accurate than your other flippant suggestions.

You already admitted that you don't have one single source for these
stats. Not one except your imagination.

microsoft.public.windows.vista does pretty much narrow it down but as
I've said before, you prove that using Linux makes you stupid.
