Is there anyway to "redirect" an email message in Outlook?

I used to use Eudora as my primary email client years ago. On feature I
really liked was the redirect command, allowing me to forward an email to
another use and have it arrive at that address appearing as if it came from
the original user. For example, if I received a message at (e-mail address removed)
from address (e-mail address removed) I could redirect it to (e-mail address removed) and when
Bill received the message it would look like it came directly from JSmith.
The sender of the email would actually appear as

(e-mail address removed) (By way of (e-mail address removed))

so Bill would recognize that it did first come to me. But he could reply to
message and it would go to jsmith, not me. This was very useful in support
groups since it allowed messages to be redirected to the most appropriate
support analyst.

I've been waiting for this feature to appear in Outlook but as of Outlook
2003 I still don't see a way to do this. Am I missing something obvious?

The "redirect" is available only to Microsoft Exchange
Server clients. It has been available starting with Outlook 2000.

Can you elaborate on this? My company runs an Exchange server and we all
have Outlook 2000 or 2003 clients. I don't see a redirect command anywhere
though.

Do you know what version of Exchange your company uses?

The Redirect is available in the "Rules Wizard" for when you
write a rule.

Okay, I see the redirect option available when creating rules. But that's
not really what I need. When an email arrives in my mail box, there are
commands to repy to it or forward it. What I miss is that third
option--redirect. Having to write a custom a rule isn't very convenient if I
just want to manually redirect a given message. Does anyone know if this
feature is available in a third party add-on?

I don't see a Forward As Attachment command anywhere, or do you mean I can
drag and drop the message as an attachment? This wouldn't quite be the same
as a simple Redirect command though, although the net effect is the in the
end, just not as convenient as the redirect command I've used in other
products.

If you forward as attachment, they can reply from the attached message.
also, I believe there is an app at http://www.ivasoft.biz/ that may help.

Thanks for the link. The product will do the trick, although it's
unfortunate that it has to be installed on both the sender and the receiver.
Certainly limits the usefulness of the product.
