Is it possible to map addresses and ports with ICS (XP) like we do with NAT ??

Lars

Hi all,

Quest in the object.

The problem is my address is translated and private by the ICS, witch
prevents me from accessing my computer by the internet.

I thought about a paliavtive soluce, but my address would still be
private (tell me what do you think about that) :

If I add a static route to/from my ICS "server" to/from my client
computer.
Would it be possible to use the public adress of my ICS "server" ??

Or do I have reached the limit of the ICS and do I need to configure a
server with a NAT (that would be quiet impossible in my case)...?

You can do port mapping where traffic destined for a specific
port on you ICS public address gets routed to an internal address.
