irfanview 3.85 & thumbnails question please

Every time I use irfanview 3.85 to view thumbnail (File, Thumbnails) I have to exit the
program if I want to view a different CD like when I am looking for a certain pic and I do
not know what CD it is on. If I do not I get a circle with a line through it like "No
Whatever". It is a pain to have to restart it every time I want to switch CD.

Can someone help me out here??

Select any other drive, then the CD-drive again
(while still in thumbnail view) when you have inserted another CD.

You could perhaps send Irfan an e-mail and
suggest to implement a "drive refresh" feature.

There is a refresh on the program. Don't need to send Irfan a request for
it, he already did it.

When in your thumbnail viewer and want to look at contents of a new disk,
put the disk in the drive then on the menu on the thumbnail viewer click
VIEW and select REFRESH.

The shortcut is F5, like a lot of programs.
