The drive appears in windows explorer but when i click on it i get a
"Insert drive F:" message or "This drive is not formatted, Would you
like to format now?" message!!
Nothing at all happens on Itunes when i try to connect??

Download the latest Ipod updater from Apple and also make sure you have the
newest version of Itunes. There's a setting in Itunes to allow your Ipod to
work as a normal hard drive - to carry files like a flash drive etc. it has
to be enabled. When I hook up my Ipod it shows up in Itunes on the left side
with the other listings. It's then very easy to load music. I also use it to
transfer files to my sister's computer etc.

Thanks Jim i will get on to that asap.... now that i think about it
downloading the new itunes has been a problem in the past... When i
click the "DOWNLOAD" button it says "Itunes will automatically upload"
But nothing actually happens!?? Do you know if this is my internet
securities or something else?

Jim I downloaded the latest itunes version and am still getting the
same "Please insert disk into Drive F:" message???
I don't know what Ipod updater will do but can only find it for a Mac
OS??
Any other options to fix this????
