I am unable to open the internet options in the control panel. When i click
on the icon a small windows pops up and goes away. is there a way to restore
the internet options to the default? Or is there a way to repair the control
panel.

Does the small window say anything?

Here's another way to open the Internet options. What happens if you
do this?

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click Run.
3. Type "intetcpl.cpl" in the "Open:" box.
4. Click OK.

The System File Checker might be able to fix the problem. To run it,
follow the steps above, typing "sfc /scannow" in the box.

Steve, I am having the same problem.
When the little box pops up it is to fast for me to read it before it shuts
down. I tried the solution below and the response is that this file cannot be
found.

Help.
