Does anyone know of a way, when clicking on a new link, how I set up IE 6 so
that the new window will automatically be maximized? Thanks!

IE remembers the last window that was opened.

This will have to be redone occasionally.

Open *one* instance of IE | Use the cursor (not the
maximize button) to drag the window to the desired
size | Click the Close [X] while holding down the
Ctrl key.
-----

When all else fails, paste the line below into Start | Run

javascript:window.open(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight)

Note: then make sure the above window is the last one closed.

Not in my experience.

When I'm forced to use it (e.g. on terminals at the local college),
it always opens in a small window. I resize the window, and as soon
as I open another window, _or_ close IE and restart it, I'm back to
tiny windows again. It's most annoying.

Thank you for this fix. The window size was driving me nuts and this fixed it.
