Internet Explorer wont open

When I click on the IE icon on my desktop i get an error message everytime. I
tried restarting my computer but it still didn't work. The message says:
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience.
Then it says SEND ERROR REPORT or DON'T SEND.
Like i said before, the message shows up everytime i click on an IE icon.

Next i went to the HELP and SUPPORT CENTER on my Start Bar and clicked on
the Newsgroups icon. This opened up IE. The page is blank...just white. On
the address bar it reads:
http://www.ads234.com/adView.aspx?r....com/fwlink/?LinkId=52&mac=4c89b131&Segment=1
If i go to the address bar and type something in it will just take me back
to the same addy...ads234.com/... This is not my homepage so i dunno why it
keeps taking me here. My homepage is About:Blank.
What has happened? How do I fix this?? Please help...if anyone
replies...thank you!

Get Adaware and Spybot somehow and run those.
You seem to have spyware on your machine.
